Nope, this isn't about an amazing fence I saw. This is the 200th post of the blog. That's a lot of posting.
Kristen and I have been looking a little more seriously at houses. We took a look at a log house in a desirable location. Unfortunately there was a lot wrong with the place, so our enthusiasm eventually subsided.
On Saturday we took off for Nederland for a short weekend trip. On the way up the canyon, we stopped to eat an early Valentine's dinner at the Red Lion Inn, which specializes in wild game. Both our meals were excellent, I had Bison, Kristen had her favorite: Steak Diane.
After checking in to our hotel, we headed out to see what was going on in Ned. We eventually ended up at a bar that had live blues playing. We're not sure exactly what was going on, but it seemed like some kind of costume contest was on-going. A lot of older people showed up dressed like 1950's gangsters, which was rather surreal. Unfortunately we didn't have the camera on us.
The next morning we headed out for some snowshoeing. There wasn't a huge amount of snow, but we had fun stomping around the woods, getting lost a few times. There weren't many people out, so we got to enjoy the quiet.
Then it was back to Boulder for preparations for another work week.
