Steamboat

Last weekend was the annual Steamboat trip.  We hit amazingly good snow this year, 20+ inches in a few days.  It's going to make the rest of the season seem pretty tame.

Quick Update

Last weekend I headed up to snowboard on Saturday.  Jeff Nedrow and I got in a pretty good day at Winter Park, finding some good snow over on the Cirque.  It's been closed all year, the weather was beautiful, making the hike enjoyable.



Kristen and I relaxed on Sunday.  We did a little work around the house, including taking down the Christmas lights.

Things really cooled off Sunday night, we had several nights in the -10 range.  The highs only got into the single digits on Monday and Tuesday.  It looks like Cody and Rapid have had it worse.

I'm heading off to Steamboat tomorrow morning for the annual Super Bowl weekend ski trip.  It's the only multi-day trip planned this year, so hopefully the snow gods smile down upon us!
