It's been a slow couple of weeks for us. After the crazy Memorial Day weekend, we've reigned things in a bit. Two weekends ago was really laid back, we did a short run, some gardening, and a lot of relaxing. This last weekend was more of the same.
We ran a 10k in Longmont on Saturday. I did about as well as I expected, Kristen wasn't feeling too hot, so she was a bit slower than she'd hoped. Afterwards, my buddy Nate came over to work on some games we're planning for our annual camping trip that happens in a few weekends. Kristen and I went and saw a movie Saturday evening.
Sunday involved hanging out at the Pearl Street mall in wonderful weather, and walking along the creek a bit. A few tubers were braving the creek, although the mid 80's seemed a little too cold to me to be in the water. It was Morrissey's 29th birthday as well, so we had a big Sushi lunch with him and Tracy.
Back home for naps, then we took a bike ride to go look at a few houses we are interested in. We've scheduled viewings, maybe we'll find something we really like. We swung by Dairy Queen on the way home. It was a very pleasant day.
